Where Has Time Gone

“Often in life, we forget the things we should remember, and remember the things we should forget.”

There was a time where all that had to be done was make your bed and eat your vegetables.

Then came 18 credit semesters which preceded the nine to five life.

Some start adulthood earlier than others — marriage and kids get in the picture.

Years go by and the less happy birthdays we say to each other.

More thoughts such as “damn, I wonder what he’s doing these days?” come about.

And time and time again we come back to the same excuse.

“I’m just too busy.”

There is no “time-gap” between genders and banks can’t discriminate on who they allocate time to.

Time is fixed, it never changes.

But your priorities? Those can change like the seasons.
