Pressure is a Privilege

“Pressure is a privilege – it only comes to those who earn it.” 

I had the chance to kick off this past weekend with a friend over some cocktails discussing favorite movies to current reads and everything in between.

We both work in marketing full time and engage in side projects so our schedules mirror each other to a degree.

And a standout line from our conversation that stuck with me was the idea that pressure is a privilege.

The privilege that we’re only on this earth one time and one time only

So whatever dreams and ambitions are set in front of us that we have the diligence to reach them without question.

Pressure creates action — and without pressure we cannot move things worth creating forward.

No goal worth reaching for can be attained without pressure.

The friend was a fellow by the name of Riz Zandi. He’s the creator of One Piece Media and has became a good friend of mine over the past 18 months.
