One-way Street.

“The destroyers will rarely be held accountable. Mostly they will receive pensions.”

A government has accountability for decisions and laws affecting its citizens as the citizens have accountability for their acts and behaviors.

It’s a two way street by definition.

But we know that’s not the case anymore.

I stumbled upon Ta-Neshi after watching a viral video titled “Words That Don't Belong to Everyone”

This led me to read his book Between the World and Me.
