Idleness is key

“Idleness is not just a vacation, an indulgence or a vice; it is as indispensable to the brain as vitamin D is to the body, and deprived of it we suffer a mental affliction as disfiguring as rickets … it is, paradoxically, necessary to getting any work done.”

Tim Krieder

The idleness for some comes as a born trait, while others may see idleness as a foreign language. In other words, these type of people have trouble “unplugging.” Their ambitions suck them in, and they do not have a sense of work life balance. Individuals who experience the early work career burnouts have trouble with this very task.

Like Tim said, “paradoxically” apply idleness within your daily life. Your endeavors will be more productive once you introduce idleness. For every yin there is a yang. As you mold your future today, remember that its OK to “just chill out.”
