Nothing makes sense the moment it happens.

The car accident on your first day of work.

The abrupt breakup the day of graduation.

Your childhood friend taking his life randomly.

Hindsight exists after you’ve digested the moments that didn’t make sense.

Everyone in your life serves (or has served) a purpose.

And every failure has a lesson, a thesis to build upon.

Realization happens when you least expect it, and that’s the way life works.

This post was inspired by a 90 minute phone call Thursday night, and three examples from my life that have helped carve who I am today.
