Health = Wealth

“The first wealth is health.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

A short story with a punchline:

I was speaking to a friend over the phone and he mentioned a long term goal of his is to build a real estate empire.

Goals at this level have to be broken down into years, months, weeks and days.

For this friend he must make over 600 calls, six days a week.

This results in a healthy monthly income but a byproduct from this type of lifestyle is stress.

And lots of it.

An empire built at the cost of a degrading well-being.

Success is a subjective condition, but there are common traits that can be packaged under the umbrella definition.

There is nothing wrong with large scale goals — the problem lies in how will it affect you.

Why plant a tree and not be alive to bear the fruits of your labor?

I’ll be honest this post was scheduled for Friday… but there are times where afternoons and evenings dont go as planned and you forget things.

This is a “my bad” post.

See you Monday.
