Hard times

“Man seeks to escape himself in myth, and does so by any means at his disposal. Drugs, alcohol, or lies. Unable to withdraw into himself, he disguises himself. Lies and inaccuracy give him a few moments of comfort.”

Hard times don’t discriminate. Hard times have the power to set you up for success or break you down.

This is a binary decision — one path is to attack your issues head on, the other is a path of least resistance.
