There seems to be a common notion in the “hustle culture” that to be successful you must stick your nose in every project, take every job offer that pays more, move up the ladder, and reel in as many clients as possible.

And there was a time where that was exactly how I operated.

It’s like rowing a boat vigorously but in the wrong direction.

To put it simple: The emphasis should not be on what you do, but what you don’t do.

What projects and engagements you avoid.

What foods and chemicals you avoid.

What type of people to avoid.

The earlier you’re able to understand this concept of focusing on the crafts that provide you leverage over outside distractions, the more wealth and freedom will follow.
