Finding Light.

“When you are deciding on next steps, next jobs, next careers, further education, you should rather find purpose than a job or a career. Purpose crosses disciplines. Purpose is an essential element of you.”

Chadwick Boseman

Think about this:

By the time you graduate high school you have been indoctrinated for 13 (sometimes longer) years.

72% of your lifetime was formatted around an outdated system.

A system that rewards obedience, structure, grades, the status quo.

A system that’s flawed to the point where government cannot agree on how to fix it.

The individuals we consider successful are aware of this system — yet they found a light within themselves to be better than what the system designs it’s citizens for.

This light is personal and no two lights are the same.

This light is an innate feature in everybody, but not everybody finds it within.

Whether you’re just starting off or at the end of your career there is still time to find the light.

Have I found it? I think so.

The only way to know is if everything being done, today, next week, and next year puts me where I want to be in ten and twenty years.

RIP Chadwick — this one was hard.
